6 Months Old!

Here's what Calla seems to like at half a year old: Eating sweet potatoes, chewing on plastic sorting shapes and pointer fingers, saying "AAAAAAAHHHHH", squealing/singing in a high pitched voice, sitting in the bumbo, bouncing in the jumparoo, Addie hugs, Addie glances, pretty much anything to do with Addie, nursing, riding in the moby, hearing the pajamatime song that Mom made up, hearing "Where is Thumbkin", seeing Dad appear in the doorway during bedtime lullaby (full body arm and leg pumping with a wide mouth grin), seeing Mom in the morning, loosing socks.

Here's what she doesn't seem to like: Being put in the car seat, getting sun in her eyes, drinking out of bottles, being put down for naps, waking up from naps after half an hour.

The last six months have gone by so quickly. It has been a roller coaster at times, but I guess that's just the nature of parenthood. Despite living in a sleep deprived stupor surrounded continuously by mess, I wouldn't trade this ride for any other!*

*Ok to be completely honest...it would be nice to sit on the bench and watch for a day or two, but then I'd wanna get back on :)
