On Friday night we went camping with Addie for the first time. Because we weren't sure how it would all go over we didn't go farther than our backyard. We made a fire in the firepit and roasted hotdogs for dinner. Later on some of our neighbors came over and made s'mores with us. When Addie got tired we put her in pjs and put her in the tent. She cuddled under her blankets for about 30 seconds and then proceeded to laugh and bounce up and down on the air mattress for a long time. Clearly we did not have to worry about her not liking camping. I don't think we went to sleep until about 10:30. We had a great time though and hope to venture farther away for another camp out at some point this summer.
