Monster Story

Calla has been telling a lot of stories recently. She talks to herself and tells stories and she talks to us and tells stories.
This was one of her shorter stories from lunch today:

Calla: "Once upon a time there was a monster who came to eat Mom"
Me: "Oh no! What happened?"
Calla: "We got a new mom."

What?!!

I found this both hilarious and terrifying.
