She likes: when Addie says "smuggly, buggly, buggly, boo", and "Hey boo boo", playing with ADD I E O, playing in water, playing with Addie, playing the keyboard, playing games with Addie, and she loves to throw things into that box over there with Addie, CALLAADDIE (addie typed this), Addie
(Additions from Margaret): ducks, dogs, horses, reading books, riding in the backpack carrier, tickling, pulling herself up to standing, listening to music (especially "The Ugly Duckling", "Puff the Magic Dragon", the "Gummy Bear song" ) eating, playing at the beach, going upside down, crawling, saying: "Dada, Mama, "Aahhppp"(Addie), "Cap" (Clap)," signing: Puff, more, milk, mumika,
She doesn't like: (list made by Addie) when she doesn't get food when she wants, when Mom doesn't nurse her when driving, when Addie doesn't play with her, when she doesn't want to take naps, other people holding her that she doesn't know very well, (additions from Margaret): having her face wiped after meals, watching Mom walk away from her, teething, having tiny piece toys taken away from her, waking up in the middle of the night and not being nursed.
It is hard to believe that she is already 10 months old. She and A play together now and it is so wonderful to see them so happy. Of course the happiness can quickly turn to tears (from either one) at the drop of a hat, but I'm sure that is something I just have to get used to! When well rested and fed Calla continues to be incredibly mellow and cheerful. She is finally getting a tooth and I think a second one might be starting to pop through. She has a wonderful smile and is very observant, taking everything in. It is very exciting hearing her first words and seeing her signs and knowing that she is understanding what we say to her.
